Promoting Science & Technology for Caribbean Youth
To assist in diversifying the economies of the Caribbean by harnessing science and technology for economic development, and in so doing help raise the region's standard of living.
The Caribbean Science Foundation (CSF) was established as an independent non-profit non-governmental organization in 2010. The work of the CSF is supported in part by the Caribbean Diaspora for Science, Technology and Innovation (CADSTI) which founded the CSF.
CADSTI-NE Intern and SPISE Graduate - Fitzroy Wickham - Selected as 2021 Rhodes Scholar
CADSTI-New England congratulates Fitzroy Wickham from Jamaica for being named a 2021 Rhodes Scholar! Fitzroy was inspired through our programs to reach for his dreams - - - to see the world and meet and learn from people of all backgrounds, and to do research on neurodegenerative diseases, like the Alzheimer’s work he did during his CADSTI-New England summer internship at Voyager Therapeutics. He hopes to return to the Caribbean one day to encourage young people to pursue their scientific passions and ultimately, to increase the number of under-represented minorities in research and drug development. Congratulations Fitzroy!
